location unknown 🤍 • *long spiel alert* • I knew I wanted to make something to this song when I first heard it last May. • I remember improving to it by myself in Kimmel 606 and crying because I related so much to the lyrics - I felt so alone and unmotivated and I missed so many people and I missed dancing with people. So much has changed since then. • Not being able to see some of the people we love most was pretty much a universal experience during the pandemic. We are still in the midst of this thing, but just being able to dance with people again has made my heart so beyond full and has reminded me just how lucky I am to have the people in my life that I do. • Firstly, I have so much gratitude for the beautiful dancers in this video - you are all such amazing souls and talented artists and I can’t even begin to express how thankful I am that I get to call you my friends. • Secondly, the absolute biggest shoutout to Christabelle Tan for filming and editing this on a whim you are such a light in my life and the most fun to work with thank you for being the best friend and for always being down for anything • Lastly, I know this sounds literally so cheesy but I just want to thank every single person watching this and everyone I’ve crossed paths with during such a difficult time in all of our lives - every old friend that has stuck by me and new friend that has become a part of my life and every single person in between - you have all made me the person I am and I couldn’t be more thankful for that. • Most importantly, so much love for Pulse Dance Project for being my second family.
